次の展覧会の準備のために、明治〜大正期の手紙を見ているんだけど、手書きの文字がよい。万年筆や付けペンの筆跡も魅力的だし、たくさん字を書いていた時代のいきいきした、個性的な崩し字が素敵で、自分でも字が書きたくなる。
Reading letters from the Meiji and Taisho periods in preparation for the next exhibition. I love their handwritten letters and the lines by fountain pens and dip pens. The vibrant, unique and cursive letters by people who wrote quite a lot are fascinating, and make me want to write more.
