It’s a new year’s eve. I’m going to clean up my room to confront the chaos that I’ve been ignoring for half a year.

おとつい頃に終わらせる予定だった原稿のドラフトをなんとか仕上げて、年末の買い出しに向かおうとしています
I managed to finish a draft of a manuscript which was to be finished around the day before yesterday. Then I am about to head off to do some end-of-year shopping!

仕事が全然納まりませんが、先日会議でいったオフィスからとても綺麗な夕暮れの富士山が見えたので、だいたい良いような気になっています
I never feel I can get away with the backlogs of the year. But it’s gonna be alright because of the beautiful sunset and the view of Mt. Fuji I saw the other day.

職場近くのロティサリーチキン屋さんでチキンを買い、家族でクリスマス風の夕飯を食べました。このところ休日も家にいないか、仕事をしていることが多かったので、今日時間がとれてよかった
I got chicken from a rotisserie restaurant near my office and had a Christmas-style dinner with my family. I’m glad I got some time today, as I’ve been either not at home or working over the holidays recently.
